I was diagnosed on September 9, 1999 at the age of 34.

I was diagnosed at the age of 34 while 6.5 months pregnant. At first my doc thought it was a breast infection, but she quickly changed her mind when no improvement was made.

I heard cancer, then IBC, and I was in shock. Luckily I began treatment right away.

I had three rounds of chemo and delivered a healthy baby boy one month early! He weighed 7.3 and had a ton of hair!

I then had three more rounds of chemo, a MRM, more chemo and radiation. On 6-23-2000 I was pronounced No Evidence of Disease.

Recently (5-2001), I was diagnosed with a new primary cancer to my remaining breast. This time it is infiltrating ductal carcinoma, stage 2.

On 5-8-2001 I had another MRM and am going to begin treatment soon.

Through all of this I have kept my sense of humor and am enjoying my life very much. My love for my children keeps me going.
