Marguerite

I feel I am a very fortunate woman. My journey of treatment included chemotherapy, mastectomy, stem-cell rescue, and radiation.

During this time I was blessed with the support and prayers of my wonderful husband, my daughter, other family members, friends and colleagues.

I was also blessed with the most wonderful, compassionate and professional group of nurses and doctors that anyone could ever have.

My scans have been clear, and the loving support and prayers of family and friends has never faltered. You learn to live by thanking God for all of your blessings and being grateful for the day at hand.

You Needed Me

I cried a tear, you wiped it dry
I was confused, you cleared my mind
I sold my soul, you bought it back for me
And held me up and gave me dignity
Somehow you needed me

You gave me strength to stand alone again
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, you needed me

And I can't believe it's you,
I can't believe it's true
I needed you and you were there
Cause I've finally found someone who really cares

You held my hand when it was cold
When I was lost you took me home
You gave me hope when I was at the end
And turned my lies back into truth again
You even called me friend

You gave me strength to stand alone again
To face the world out on my own again
You put me high upon a pedestal
So high that I could almost see eternity
You needed me, you needed me.
You needed me, you needed me.

How Great Thou Art

O Lord my God when I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made.
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power through out the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

When through the woods and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze.

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

And when I think that God His son not sparing,
Sent Him to die I scarce can take it in.
That on the cross my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, my Saviour God to Thee,
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

When Christ shall come with shouts of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow in humble admiration,
And there proclaim, my God how great Thou art.
